Computer Class in the department of Architecture

You need the master password to log in.

 

Setting up Course-folders

Start My Computer; Tools-menu; Map Network drive;
Drive: choose a letter,
then:
Folder; Browse; da on win; courses: A: 9
or type after Folder:
\\win.hut.fi\da\courses\A

Course folder are named by the codes of courses

 

Printing and plotting

Black and white printing is free with these printers:
A4/A3 HP Laserjet 5100 (in computer class) A-PSA12401
A4/A3 HP Laserjet 8000 (in computer class in the basement) A-PSA03401
A0 HP Designjet 430 (in computer class) A-DJ430

Color printing is chargeable and managed by the attendants of the department:
A4/A3 laserprinter A-PSC
A0 plotterHP Designjet 750 A-sty10000

Installing printers
Start-menu: Settings: Printers and Faxes: Add a printer: Next: Next: Find a printer in directory: Next: change Entire network to Win: Find now:
printer ID´s beginning with the letter A are the printers of the department of Architecture,
for example: A-PSA12401.
